Love Poem #23Ĺ

My love for you
is like a fish,
because it is very large.
Which some fish are.
At least, comparatively so.
You sort of have to imagine
my love as one of the larger types of fish
(a grouper, say, or even a marlin),
then put that fish
next to a much, much smaller sort of fish
(like, maybe, a guppy).
And then I think
youíll understand
what Iím getting at
here.
